Aims: to work with people in their locality to create sustainable communities. This programme includes Changing Estates - focusing on tenants and residents on estates and resulting in projects which can range from access and security improvements to public art, community gardens like the Claudia Jones garden and play facilities. Also projects which promote recycling and composting like the Warburton & Darcy garden club small grants scheme to promote sustainability practices; small-scale improvements tackling a range of issues from eyesores and restoration of heritage features, tree-planting, to growing food in the inner-city such as Devonshire House garden and Haggerston garden club.
